The investigation examined 15 seroconversion panels produced by ZeptoMetrix (USA) and BBI (USA). The use of the DS-EIA-HIV-AB/AG-SPECTR test system determined 88 of the 167 seroconversion panels as HIV positive. The IB-based tests revealed only 45 of the 167 samples as positive. Consequently, the application of the DS-EIA-HIV-AB/AG-SPECTR test system is more effective than the IB-based tests in early HIV infection.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Цель настоящей работы - проведение сравнительной оценки рабочих характеристик тест-систем, предназначенных для подтверждения положительных результатов, полученных при скрининговых исследованиях на ВИЧ-инфекцию - твердофазного иммуноферментного теста "ДС-ИФА-ВИЧ-АТ/АГ-СПЕКТР 88" (НПО "Диагностические системы", Нижний Новгород) и тестов на основе метода иммунного блоттинга (ИБ). В работе были исследованы 15 сероконверсионных панелей производства компаний ZeptoMetrix (США) и BBI (США). При использовании тест-системы "ДС-ИФА-ВИЧ-АТ/АГ-СПЕКТР" из 167 образцов сероконверсионных панелей определяются как ВИЧ-позитивные. Тесты на основе ИБ выявляют лишь 45 из 167 образцов как позитивные.
